Good News is always treasured and especially so when the South African Police is making the headlines. Look at the attached video and appreciate the unique friendliness that the police give to the community, even though they have to do their work mostly in very difficult circumstances.
SA Police make 18th birthday special
So many people celebrated their birthdays during lockdown and so many more are still to be celebrated in this time.
The Andrade family is one of thousands across South Africa to celebrate a birthday and a very special one too. Layla, daughter, sister and grandchild turned 18 this year and instead of friends coming together or going out in true young adult fashion, this family had to improvise in making this day very special for her.
They want to say thank you and give a big shout out to Colonel Solomons and Captain Doubell from Garsfontein Police Station in Pretoria for going out of their way to not only keep the neighbourhood and the people safe by enforcing and implementing the law, but also for their heart and compassion in making this specific birthday one to remember for always.
Watch this video below to see Layla’s own special birthday entourage with the bells and whistles replaced by police sirens and hooters.
In a time where there is so much uncertainty and unanswered questions about Covid-19 and the impact it has and will have on matriculants, scholars and students around the world, acts like these stand out as hope. A very big thank you to CSI and Bull Security for also participating in this celebration.
