GEEN “SMOKKELGOED”
Moenie julle leefstyl aanpas by die gedragspatrone van hierdie wêreld nie, maar laat God julle omvorm deurdat Hy julle denkpatrone vernuwe. Dan sal julle goed kan onderskei wat Hý wil hê dat julle moet doen, naamlik dit wat werklik goed en aanvaarbaar en volmaak is (Romeine 12:2).
Die Griekse woord vir “onderskei” is “dokimazo” en dit beteken om te onderskei of ondersoek; ondersoek is die sinoniem wat beter pas. Om dit beter te verstaan moet jy na die doeane gaan wanneer jy ’n land binnekom. Hulle moet passasiers deursoek en in hoogs verdagte gevalle masjiene gebruik om bewegende foto’s van daardie items te neem. Net daar bepaal hulle of die reisiger die land mag binnekom of nie. Dit is wat die Gees vir ons sê: Dit is jou verantwoordelikheid om alles wat in jou wêreld inkom “te ondersoek” en te besluit wat jy gaan toelaat! Daar is smokkelgoed – goed wat nie pas by jou goddelike aard in Christus nie – byvoorbeeld siektes, die dood, armoede, woede, bitterheid, frustrasie, ensovoorts. Sulke goed moet jy nie in jou lewe toelaat nie.
Onthou dat die Bybel sê: “Bo alles, wees versigtig met wat in jou hart aangaan. Wat jy dink, bepaal alles wat jy doen” (Spreuke 4:23). Jy moet besluit om ’n wag voor jou hart te plaas om die negatiwiteite van die lewe te keer. Dit is jou verantwoordelikheid en jy het die mag en gesag om dit te doen. Jesus het gesê: “Ek vertrou die sleutels van God se koninkryk aan jou toe. Wat jy ook al op aarde toesluit, sal ook by God toegesluit bly, en wat jy ook al oopsluit, sal ook by God oopgesluit bly” (Matteus 16:19). Sleutels verwys na gesag, wette en beginsels. As jy iets op aarde weier of toelaat, gee die hemel die gesag en rugsteun wat jy gesê het.
Besluit hierdie jaar meer as ooit tevore om nie ‘smokkelgoed’ in jou lewe en in jou omgewing toe te laat nie. Verwerp bose werke ten sterkste en verbied dit in jou liggaam, gesin, werk en rondom jou. Laat slegs goddelike waarhede in jou wêreld toe, dinge wat ooreenstem met God se perfekte wil vir jou lewe. As jy nie standpunt inneem nie sal niks verander nie en dit begin met die vernuwing of verandering van jou gedagtes. Met ’n nuwe gemoed sal jy net aan God dink, aan sy geregtigheid, liefde, vriendelikheid, vreugde en vrede in jou lewe en in jou omgewing. Halleluja!
GEBED
Liewe Vader, dankie vir die mag om te bepaal wat in my wêreld mag inkom. Ek verbied alle vorms van onwettige transaksies in my lewe. Ek verwerp gevreesde siektes, armoede, die dood en alles wat seermaak en bind. Slegs dit wat ooreenstem met die God-lewe word in en om my toegelaat, in Jesus se Naam. Amen.

- Enigiemand. Indien jy net die wêreld se grootste dagstukkie wil geniet en dieselfde gebed hardop bid met miljoene Christene reg oor die wêreld in eenheid van gees, is jy welkom om die Rhapsody te kry vir jouself.
- Die gedrukte Rhapsody is egter ‘n fantastiese evangelisasie instrument en geselskap-aanknoper wat jy jouself (of groot evangelisasie groepe) kan gebruik om ander meer effektief te bereik.
- The Rhapsody is ook ‘n wonderlike aanwins vir Pastore van kerke wat nie hulle eie dagstukkie publikasie het nie, maar tog wil hê dat hulle kerk een moet hê om die gemeente te groei tot geestelike volwassenheid. Die Rhapsody is propvol inhoud en idees vir preke.
- Verder, kan jy dalk nie self na ‘n ver-afgeleë land gaan om mense daar met die Goeie Evangelie te bereik nie. Jy kan nou egter ‘n vennoot word van Rhapsody of Realities en gedrukte dagstukkie uitgawes stuur na enige land wat jy verkies. Iemand sal dit daar namens jou versprei en dis die ideale manier om die nasies te bereik, selfs van die huis af.

NO “CONTRABANDS”
…but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).
The English translation of the word, “prove” doesn’t give us the best expression of what Paul, by the Spirit, conveys in the theme verse. The Greek word is “dokimazo”; and it means to discern or examine; a more appropriate expression is, “to scrutinize.”
To understand this better, consider the custom service section at the entry port of any country. They’re mandated to scrutinize passengers, and in high alert cases, use more sophisticated machines to provide animated images of suspicious items. Right there, the traveller’s eligibility is ascertained, either for entry or denial into that country. That’s what the Spirit is telling us: you have the responsibility to “prove” or scrutinize what you allow into your world! There’re contrabands— things that aren’t consistent with your divine nature in Christ—like sickness, death, poverty, anger, bitterness, frustration, etc.; don’t allow them into your life.
Remember that the Bible says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). You’re to consciously mount a garrison, a blockade, over your heart against the negativities of life. It’s your responsibility, and you have the power and authority to do it. Jesus said, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19). Keys speak of authority, laws and principles. When you disallow or permit something on earth, heaven gives the authority and backs what you have said.
This year, more than ever, be resolute about not allowing “contrabands” in your life and in your environment. Vehemently refuse the works of evil and forbid them in your body, family, job and around you. Allow only divine realities into your world, things that are consistent with the perfect will of God for your life. If you don’t take a stand, nothing will change; and it begins with the renewing or transformation of your mind. With a renewed mind, you’ll think, permit and express only God’s thoughts, His righteousness, love, kindness, joy and peace in your life, and in your environment. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the power to determine what comes into my world. I disallow every kind of illegal transaction in my life. I vehemently refuse sickness, poverty, death, and everything that hurts and binds. Only things that are consistent with the God-life are permitted in, and around me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Ek het die artikel vandag gedeel met ander. Dis interessant om te leer dat ek my lewe en my wêreld so kan reguleer dat ek kan besluit wat ek wil toelaat in my lewe.
