SY ONVERGANKLIKE LEWE IN JOU
Ons dra altyd die sterwe van Jesus in ons liggaam saam sodat ook die lewe van Jesus sigbaar kan word in ons liggaam (2 Korintiërs 4:10).
Deur die Goeie Nuus het God ons die pad na die lewe en onsterflikheid gewys (2 Timoteus 1:10) en Hy wil hê dat daardie lewe in ons liggame gesien moet word. Dink daaraan: sy onoorwinbare lewe sigbaar in jou liggaam! Dit is wat ’n Christen ’n supermens maak.
Dink terug aan Paulus se ervaring op die eiland Malta in Handelinge 28. Hy is deur ’n giftige slang gepik, maar hy is nie dood nie; hy het nie geskree of probeer om die gif uit te suig nie. Hy het nie eens gebid of vinnig ’n paar belydenisse opgesê nie. Hy het eenvoudig aangegaan met dit waarmee hy besig was, asof niks gebeur het nie. Die mense om hom was verward, hulle het gedink Paulus gaan opswel en dood neerslaan. Toe niks gebeur nie het hulle besluit dat hy hy ’n god was (Handelinge 28:6).
Paulus het geweet dat Jesus se onverganklike lewe in sy liggaam was. Daardie lewe was deel van die verlossingspakket. So, wees vreesloos; jy kan nie vergiftig of doodgemaak word nie, want jy het die goddelike lewe in jou. Jy sou miskien vra: “Wat moet ek doen om hierdie soort lewe te lei?” Net soos jy niks hoef te doen om die menslike lewe te lei nie, hoef jy niks “te doen” om te wees wat God jou reeds gemaak het nie.
Die Bybel sê: “Hy het ons verlos, nie op grond van wat ons gedoen het vir ons vryspraak nie, maar slegs op grond van sy eie ontferming…” (Titus 3:5). Efesiërs 2:8-9 sê: “Dit is mos dié genade wat julle verlos het deurdat julle tot geloof gekom het. En julle verlossing kom nie uit julleself nie, maar is ’n gawe van God. Dit is nie die gevolg van julle dade nie. Niemand kan daaroor grootpraat nie.” Die goddelike lewe in jou kos niks ekstra nie; as jy Jesus het, dan het jy dit (1 Johannes 5:11-12). Jy moet net weet wie jy in Hom is en dat sy onverganklike lewe in jou is. Eer sy Naam tot in ewigheid!
BELYDENIS
Die bonatuurlike, onsterflike en onverganklike lewe van Christus werk in my; daarom leef ek bo siekte en verderf wat die menslike natuur beïnvloed. Ek is van die Godsoort, ek vertoon die eer en deugde van goddelikheid, in Jesus se Naam. Amen.

- Verder, kan jy dalk nie self na ‘n ver-afgeleë land gaan om mense daar met die Goeie Evangelie te bereik nie. Iemand sal dit daar namens jou versprei en dis die ideale manier om die nasies te bereik, selfs van die huis af.

HIS INCORRUPTIBLE LIFE IN YOU
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body (2 Corinthians 4:10).
Through the Gospel, God has brought life and immortality to light (2 Timothy 1:10), and He wants that life to be manifested in our physical bodies. Think about that: His invincible life manifested in your physical body! This is what makes the Christian a superman.
Recall the experience of Paul on the island of Malta in Acts 28. He was bitten by a venomous viper, but he wasn’t hurt; he didn’t shout or try to cast out the poison. He didn’t even pray or quickly recite some confession. He simply continued what he was doing as though nothing happened. The onlookers were perplexed as they had expected Paul to swell and suddenly drop dead as a result of the venom. But when that didn’t happen, they concluded he was a god (Acts 28:6).
Paul knew he had the incorruptible life of Christ manifested in his physical body. That life came in the salvation package. Therefore, in your life, be fearless; you can’t be poisoned or killed, because of the divine life in you. You might ask, “What am I going to do to live this kind of life?” Just as you didn’t have to do anything to live the human life, you don’t have to “do something” to be what God has already made you.
The Bible says, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…” (Titus 3:5). Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” The divine life in you came at no extra cost; if you have Jesus, you have it (1 John 5:11-12). What you need is the awareness, the consciousness of your identity in Him, and His incorruptible life in you. Glory to His Name forever!

The supernatural, immortal and incorruptible life of Christ is at work in me; therefore, I live above sickness, disease and all the depravities that affect the human nature. I’m an associate of the God-kind, manifesting the glory and virtues of divinity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
