Omdat ons glo, verstaan ons dat God, deur net ’n woord te spreek, die ganse heelal geskep het (Hebreërs 11:3).
Sommige mense dink dat dit mooi en nederig is om altyd by God te huil vir hulp. Hulle dink dat God hul “afhanklikheidsindroom” lief het, maar dis nie waar nie. Hy wil eerder hê dat jy met die Woord van geloof in jou mond veranderinge in jou lewe en omstandighede moet bewerk. Dit herinner my aan Jesus en sy dissipels in die boot. Die Meester het agterin die boot aan die slaap geraak en die Bybel sê: “…’n Hewige storm het losgebars wat hulle wou laat ondergaan. Hulle was in lewensgevaar” (Lukas 8:23).
Die dissipels het uiters desperaat na Hom gehardloop en gesê: “Leermeester, ons is besig om onder te gaan!” Nadat die Meester die woedende wind en golwe bestraf het, het Hy na hulle gedraai en gesê: “Waar is julle geloof?” (Lees Lukas 8:23-25). Hy het hulle laat besef dat hulle iets aan die situasie kon doen sonder om noodwendig na Hom toe te gaan. Hy het in Matthéüs 17:20 gesê: “…as julle geloof selfs so klein soos ’n mosterdsaadjie is… sal niks onmoontlik vir julle wees nie.”
Deur jou geloof kan jy enigiets vermag en verkry; jy kan jou lewe stuur in die rigting van God se wil en doel vir jou lewe. Dit maak nie saak wat gebeur het, of tans gebeur met jou finansies, werk, gesondheid, of in enige deel van jou lewe nie; moet jou nie kwel of om hulp skree nie. Jy kan dinge deur jou geloofsbelydenisse herstel, rangskik en herbou om met God se volmaakte wil ooreen te stem.
Deur jou geloof kan jy jou lewe vorm vir heerlikheid en uitnemendheid. Die Bybel sê dat ons geloof die oorwinning is wat die wêreld oorwin: “Die oorwinning wat die wêreld verower het, is ons geloof” (1 Johannes 5:4). Daar is geen situasie wat jou geloof nie kan hanteer nie. Dit is waarom Jesus vir sy dissipels gevra het: “Waar is julle geloof?” toe hulle paniekbevange was in die krisis.
Wat ook al jy vandag in die gesig staar is geen probleem vir jou geloof nie. Verander die verhaal met jou geloof-gevulde belydenisse. Praat en hou aan praat en jy sal sekerlik die verandering wat jy begeer, sien, want Jesus het gesê: “Jy sal kry wat jy sê” (Markus 11:23).
BELYDENIS
Met die Woord van God in my mond vorm ek die soort lewe en omgewing wat ek begeer. Ek orden en vorm my lewe en my wêreld om met God se volmaakte wil ooreen te stem. Alles werk ten goede mee vir my. Ek is nooit hulpeloos nie, want my geloof is sterk en seëvierend. Eer aan God!

THE FULL EXPRESSION OF HIM
Good News today with Pastor Chris from the Rhapsody of Realities.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God… (Hebrews 11:3).
Some people think it’s nice and humble to always cry to God for help. They think that God loves their “dependency syndrome,” but He doesn’t. Rather, He wants you to effect changes in your life and circumstances with the word of faith on your lips. It reminds of a situation with Jesus and His disciples as they sailed in a boat. The Master had fallen asleep in the rear of the boat, and the Bible says, “…there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy” (Luke 8:23).
The disciples ran to him in utter desperation and said, “Master, master, we perish.” The Master, after rebuking the raging tempest, turned to them and said, “Where is your faith?” (Read Luke 8:23-25). He made them realize they could have done something about the situation without necessarily coming to Him. He said in Matthew 17:20, “…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed…nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
With your faith, you can achieve and have anything; you can chart the course of your life to align with God’s will and purpose for you. It makes no difference what has happened or is happening with your finances, job and health or in any area of your life; don’t fret or cry for help! Repair, arrange and reconstruct things in line with God’s perfect will with your confessions of faith.
With your faith, you can frame your life in the path of glory and excellence. The Bible says our faith is the victory that overcomes the world: “…this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4). There’s no situation that your faith can’t handle. That’s why Jesus asked His disciples when they panicked during crisis, “Where is your faith?”
Whatever confronts you today is no match for your faith. Change the narrative with your faith-filled confessions. Speak, and keep speaking, and you’ll surely see the change that you desire, because Jesus said, “You shall have what you say” (Mark 11:23).
CONFESSION
With the Word of God in my mouth, I frame the kind of life and environment I desire; I arrange and fashion my life and my world to synchronize with God’s perfect will. All things work together for my good. I’m never helpless, for my faith is strong and prevailing. Glory to God!
